Gather
Something is cooking at Fernwood
A Table In The Woods
Gather began as a simple idea: to create a space where good food, good people and the landscape around us could come together under one roof.
Over the spring of 2026 our lovingly restored Booley became home to a series of intimate pop up dinners led by Katie Sanderson and Jasper O’Connor. What started as a small collaboration quickly turned into something really special. Shared tables, seasonal ingredients, conversations that stretched late into the evening and a room full of people connected by food, place and atmosphere.
For now the tables have been cleared and the kitchen fires allowed to rest for the summer season.
Gather will not operate as a regular restaurant and there are currently no events planned for summer 2026. However, the Booley remains a very important part of Fernwood and we are incredibly excited about its future.
As the seasons change we hope to continue hosting occasional gatherings, seasonal suppers, creative collaborations and small community events. Nothing overly polished or predictable, just thoughtful experiences that feel connected to this landscape and the people who visit it.
The Booley was always intended to be more than just a dining room. It is a place to welcome guests, share stories, celebrate local produce and create moments that feel rooted in Connemara.
We already have ideas quietly taking shape for the autumn and beyond and we look forward to gathering around the table again soon.
