Rope Bridge

Rope Bridge

Swing in the treetops.

This truly unique rope bridge, only the second of its kind in Ireland, is fun in nature at it's best.

High above the river you can swing your way across to our completely untouched, native woodland.   Over the past year we have developed a 2km woodland path which will guide you gently through the forest passing our huge Badger's set, climbing tree and many other hidden woodland wonders...  Not to mention the beautiful expansive views over our bog.  A special spot to take in this view is a bench perched beside an old ruin, make sure you find this and take a moment to appreciate the river that runs below, the bog and the view to the Twelve Bens.  Sitting here you can feel the spirit of our ancestors who once lived on this land and how different life must have been.

Even for the faint-hearted we feel the bridge offers a sense of real security as you cross.  However, if it's not for you, you can cross the river via our farm gate and over an ancient bridge.

Land really is the best art.
