Designed by the brilliant MarMar Architects and built by the talented craftsmen of Mud and Wood, a session in the Fernwood sauna is a truly unique experience.  Perched on stilts and nestled in the trees on the shore of the Salt Lake, it is evocative of a perfect birdhouse.  A true sanctuary.

The sauna is available for a nominal fee to all our guests staying at Fernwood and must be reserved via our sauna booking page. This will truly make your stay at Fernwood and a 1 hour private session will see you relaxed and ready for a superb nights sleep!

Last year, we added our plunge pool, which is fed by fresh water direct from our mountain stream -  a complete gamechanger!  Or why not just take a swim in the lake to cool down!
